Dear Alen, I have to tell you how positively impressed I am with your product and service. I ordered a Eurocom D900T Phantom laptop on 9-23-05. I received several comforting phone calls from you that day to confirm various aspects of the configuration that I had requested. The laptop arrived on my doorstep three business days later, on 9-28-05, in comparison to the 10 to 20 business days that are more typical of your competitors. The laptop arrived configured exactly as I had requested, looks great, and fits into the same carry-on luggage that I used with my previous laptop. Unlike my other more feeble laptops, an OQO Model 1, a JVC MP-XV831 and an Acer Ferrari 3400, none of which are capable of displaying my most recent PowerPoint presentation full of MPEG2 video, complex animations, full screen transparent dissolves, and stereo 16-bit 44.1kHz WAV audio, the D900T executes the presentation flawlessly with both my primary and secondary monitors each running at their full resolution, 1920x1200 and 1400x1050, respectively. The quality of the built-in laptop speakers is unbelievably outstanding, far better than any other laptop I have every heard, and nearly competitive with my insanely expensive home audio system (Wilson Watt/Puppy 7s and Halcro amps). The D990T even outperforms my desktop system by a noticeably margin, something I have never seen before. You have an awesome product; it arrived in the blink of an eye, and has impressed me mightily in every dimension of quality and capability. It remains to be seen how reliable this puppy turns out to be, but so far every aspect looks terrific, which bodes well for the future. My hat is off to you, way off! | ||||

| Great notebooks - a Eurocom success story! Hi, I've had my EUROCOM laptop for a year and a half. 5 days ago, I spilled about half a litre of water all over it - right into the keyboard. I immediately turned off and immediately unplugged it, turned it upside down to drain the water out, and left it that way until today. I turned it on and it was EXACTLY THE SAME AS BEFORE. My theory is that the desktop replacement technology prevented the water from getting everywhere - but regardless, apparently no one's laptop survives a flood the way mine just did. The computer guy in my department is totally amazed. So you guys are doing something right. :) | ||||

I just wanted to personally let you know that I am now a first time proud owner of a eurocom laptop.
I must say thought, that the fact that you responded so quickly to my query made me actually consider buying this laptop and not HP. I do not like the fact that when you have a query and e-mail a company, normally you will get an automated response and hopefully someone will get back to you within 2 weeks! So, I think, you should definitely continue with the personalized service because from what I see, you really have a great product! Also the fact that you have a 2 year warranty also says a lot to me about your product. I am so far very impressed with it, and also the fact that I ordered the laptop on Thursday and as promised by the dealer the laptop was ready by Friday afternoon. | ||||

| I had a machine that wouldn't "wake up" from hibernation on windows 2000. It would start the fan, and then not do anything else. After trying some things, I was told to send it in. I had a service centre in my city, and I was going to take it in on Friday. First thing in the morning, I got a call from the service centre asking when I was coming in, as they had a new motherboard for my laptop. I let them know that I was coming in later that day. It only took them about an hour to get my machine back up and running with the new motherboard (Which, because it was under warranty, it didn't cost me a cent). It hasn't had very many errors on it since it's been replaced. I will certainly buy from Eurocom again, as they have very good technical support, and excellent sales people. | ||||

| I SURE DO Love My Eurocom!!! I got mine almost 3 years ago, and it has been a very trusty companion, taking all kinds of abuse. After I'd had it for about a year, I was running late and didn't use the straps inside the case, nor did I do up the zipper on the bag. Well, I got to my next appointment and reached across the seat and yanked the case hard and fast. I invented a couple of new words as my baby flew 25 feet across the parking lot and bounced while the case remained firmly in my hand! Needless to say, I was in shock! I started it up and to my surprise things seemed to work fine, except the bottom half of the screen was a bit dull. I took it to my retailer, and they called the Ottawa office. Thanks to FedEx for their excellent delivery, but really, thanks to Eurocom, I had my machine back 48 hours later, and my cost including shipping was a whopping $72! I recommend the company to everyone I come in contact with, which is a lot of people, as I write for some online real estate magazines and also participate in a lot of online groups. | ||||

| ...The reaction of my clients to the EUROCOM 8500 never ceases to amaze me. The opening gambit is usually a comment (sometimes caustic) about "no name" brand notebooks. This is usually followed by some reference to "fat books" or "chubby luggy". At first I usually reacted defensively by reeling off all the features I had adding that I doubted they had such on notebook - if they even had one! Now I give them a knowing smile and invite them to sit back and watch a master exercising a magnificent thoroughbred. After the boot sequence and a glance at the size of the screen the attitudes usually change to curiosity followed by questions on specs and performance; none of which I will answer. Instead I invite them to go investigate for themselves - if they have the capacity to handle a high performance machine. Several have told me privately that if they had discretion over notebook purchasing they would most certainly buy themselves a Eurocom at the next upgrade. | ||||

| I bought my first EUROCOM notebook, a 1200-P in the summer of 1999, and in the two years I owned my trusty notebook it traveled with me wherever I went with the Army reserve. It traveled in some pretty rough vehicles from Jeeps to a Hercules transport aircraft all without any problems what so ever. The ability to keep in touch with my friends and family wherever I traveled to was invaluable. That tough little notebook logged quite a few miles and many jolts and bumps before I traded it in this month for a brand new 2700-C DVD model. When I decided to trade in my old notebook not only did I get a very decent price for it, but my new one notebook arrived in just a week, and just in time for me to hit the road on yet another trip. I don't know what I'd do without a notebook for work or now when I go back to university. I'll never buy another desktop computer again! | I have been receiving your emails for over a year now and I never once returned one to tell you how much I appreciate my EUROCOM laptop. I have recently completed my first year in the B.Sc program at univeristy. During the first month or so this past fall, my EUROCOM died on me devastating me, because this was my first computer purchase and I felt horrified to know that I had wasted (or so I thought) all of the money I had saved from my High School job as a lifeguard/instructor at the local pool. I eventually had the ability to send the computer back home to the dealer, since I originally live in Newfoundland, Canada, and it was quite a challenge to get the computer there from New Brunswick. The computer arrived and was fixed, thank goodness for the one year warranty or I would have been an even poorer student. Through all of this, I was without a computer for about four months. When I returned home for Xmas, my computer was waiting for me and since then I have experienced no problems with the machine. I am hoping to upgrade my system as soon as I get enough money. Until then, I am sure that my EUROCOM will be in great working order. I just wanted to say thank you for the affordable computer and thank you for your great service people.
